Reduction in pain intensity in the cervical spine occurred in 3 out of 4 girls by one degree, in the thoracic spine, all girls experienced a reduction in pain intensity by one degree, and in the lumbar spine, 3...
Možnosti ovlivnění postury pomocí systému Marrko Core
HAJNÁ, Daniela
This bachelor thesis focuses on the new Marrko Core exercise equipment, which uses centrifugal force to strengthen the entire body. The aim was to find out what effect exercising with the Marrko Core will have on the overall posture of probands. The research population consisted of five probands who occasionally suffer from back pain. Changes in posture were noted in the head, shoulder joints, shoulder blades, lumbar lordosis and pelvis after two months of exercise with the Marrko Core. In all probands, there was a strengthening of the deep stabilization system of the spine, less involvement of muscles compensating for HSSP insufficiency and involvement of the HSSP even during normal daily activities. Using the modified Véle test, an improvement in total body stability was found.
Possibilities of physiotheraphy of occupational diseases found with nurses and auxiliary nurses working at an impatient depatment
ŽURKOVÁ, Kateřina
The job in health care as a nurse, hospital attendant or health care assistant is very exacting in all aspects. Therefore this job should do a person, who likes working with people and is able to care for them. Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages concerning this job. This profession perform primarily women, so the physical strain in combination with unsuitable motoric stereotypes is one of the disadvantage. The other disadvantage is also mental strain, because the worker is in contact with very ill, dying people or people in a difficult living situation. Therefore it is very important not to become apathetic and indifferent to patients. In a theoretical part of my bachelor work I deal with a charakteristics of nursing care, its features and at the same time with a problematics of work in health care. It also includes knowledge of anatomy of human body parts , which are, dealing with this profession, burdened mostly. Concerning the collection of data from questionnaire, the most burdened body parts are cervical and lumbar spine, shoulder joints and hip joints. In the end of a theoretical part I write about knowledge of ergonomics of working environment. Anatomy is also completed with knowledge of kineziology. This bachelor work concentrates also on knowledge and education of health workers concerning burdening of their body during work. On the basis of finding this information, there is an individual, compensational plan for every responder. The research group consists of three hospital attendants working in a senior home and every of these attendants contends with different problems of musculoskeletal system. It is a qualitative research, which lasts for 6 weeks with 1 therapy a week. This bachelor work can serve as educational material for health workers working on inpatient department, for specialized public, for students of physiotherapy and people interested in this problematics.
Relaxation techniques and their application in physiotherapy of functional disorders of the locomotive system
VESELÁ, Terezie
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of functional disorders of the locomotive system and the influence of relaxation techniques on this issue. Functional disorders of the locomotive system arise mostly due to long-term overloading or due to poor movement stereotypes, which are closely related to the function of the deep stabilization system and muscle loops. A significant influence on the development of these disorders is also the psyche, which is often impaired in patients diagnosed with functional disorders of the locomotive system, especially in connection with pain, which is the main symptom. Physiotherapy in functional disorders of the locomotive system can be very variable and many methods can be used, but this bachelor thesis examines the effect of relaxation techniques. The theoretical part describes the functional disorders of the locomotive system including characterictics of origin, etiopatogenesis, risk factors and various types of functional disorders of the locomotive system. One of the aims of the thesis was to find out the possible influence of the psyche on functional disorders of the locomotive system. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the desription and anatomy of the deep stabilization system, which is very closely related to this issue, as well as muscle loops. The last part of the the theoretical part is a description and mapping of individual relaxation techniques usable in physiotherapy, which was also one of objectives of this thesis. The practical part of the thesis consists of three case reports, when the age of probands with the diagnosis of functional disorder of the locomotive system occured in the range of 22 years to 62 years. A qualitative research method was used, with a total of ten meetings between November 2019 and February 2020. Each proband was subjected to input and output kinesiological analysis to compare and verify effects of therapy.
Use of developmental kinesiology elements in the prevention of spinal injuries
KAMÍROVÁ, Barbora
My bachelor thesis deals with the application of elements of developmental kinesiology in the prevention of vertebral disorders. The theoretical part of my bachelor thesis contains a description of the back anatomy and the most common vertebral disorders which can be prevented by therapy. The next chapters focus on the core system and developmental kinesiology, where the single phases of delevopment are described in detail. These phases result in exercises that are then used in a set of exercises. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes methods on neurophysiologycal basis often used in the therapy of vertebral disorders. They include DNS concept, Vojta therapy, Roswitha Brunkow therapy and ACT method. The practical part includes a set of exercises created on the basis of position in developmental kinesiology and uses knowledge from the theoretical part. To evaluate the effectivity of this set of exercises the thesis contains 4 case studies. A research file was created with three woman and one man aged from 20 to 27 years, all of them active sports people. For four months they practised the set of exercices twice a week at home and once a month they visited the individual therapy to control the quality of exercising. The following methods were used for collecting data during my research: kinesiology analysis focused on anamnesis, check-up by sight and functional tests for which I used dynamical tests for spine and core tests from Kolář. Testing at the beginning and at the end of the therapy was identical. To evaluate the effect of the set of exercises I used a semi-structural interview where I focused on the subjective feeling from the therapy and to get an answer to the research question, which was to find out which exercise is the most effective in the participants´ opinion. The results of the therapy show an obvious positive effect of the set of exercises, based on positions from developmental kinesiology, on the function of the movement system. The participants feel a subjective improvement of posture and in all cases there were obvious positive changes, especially in testing of core system. Evaluated as the most effective exercise was number 1 - position of a three-month-old baby lying on its back and modifications of this exercise with use of dynamical movement of limbs.
Interventional motion program for women over 40 years old focuses on back pain
BOKROŠOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor thesis is focused on interventional movement for women over 40 years old with focus on back pain. The aim was to create and implement a three-month yoga intervention exercise program focused on back problems, which was conducted twice a week. Women suffering from back pain were randomly selected for research. After the age of 40, there are many changes, both psychological and physical, which can lead to back pain and may reduce normal daily tasks in the future. All exercisers underwent an initial measurements and random evaluation for the experimental and control groups. A second measurement was carried out during the intervention program and a final measurement after the end of the intervention program. In the evaluation of the length of the spinal straighteners, the experimental group achieved an increase of 2.2 cm, in the evaluation of the mobility of the spine and hips it achieved an increase of 2.6 cm and in the evaluation of the square lumbar muscle by 2.4 cm. An evaluating the strength of the neck flexors achieved an overall improvement of 3 seconds and evaluating the strength of the abdominal muscles achieved improvement of 2,8 seconds. Back pain decreased by 2.6 levels at the last measurement. Due to yoga exercises, we managed to see an improvement in both groups. There was better flexibility and partial removal of back pain.
